This hotel has a great pool and spacious rooms with modern decor. the breakfast and dinner were excellent, with traditional and tasty dishes. the staff and owners were very kind and provided helpful information about the area.

We had the most delightful stay at Quinta de Barbedo Villa. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly host, Susana. the location of the villa, nestled in a tiny village near Geres National Park, was absolutely beautiful. the room was lovely and comfortable, with a great view of the surrounding area from the balcony. the grounds were perfect for leisurely walks, and we especially enjoyed the cozy fire that was lit every morning and evening. Mama, the cook, prepared delicious vegetarian meals for me, and there was an excellent selection of local wine, port. the owners of the villa were lovely people, and we were impressed with the excellent breakfast and coffee they served. We even decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal.

Guests can enjoy the sunsets from the terrace and relax by the pool in the large garden. the modern rooms are stylish and comfortable, with handmade furniture made from local wood. the service provided by the two sisters and their mother is exceptional, ensuring that guests have everything they need.

Some guests may find that the food portions served during dinner at the hotel are too large.

The pool is a perfect spot to relax after hiking nearby routes. The rooms are simple but very clean, providing a comfortable stay. Don't miss the stunning seven lakes hiking route!

The value for money at this family-run b&b was incredible, with beautifully renovated rooms and comfortable beds. The location was perfect, close to the national park, and the staff treated us like family, being attentive and kind throughout our stay.

The only slight improvement for breakfast would be to offer more variety in the options available.
